Monument Beach: From
this beach you
can see the
Bourne entrance
to the Cape Cod
Canal and the
Monument Beach
Marina. Located
on a small
harbor.

Scusset Beach: Located
on the north
side on Cape Cod
Bay. It is a
large state run
beach with
excellent
facilities.
Directions: Take
Meetinghouse
Road off the
Sagamore Rotary
just before the
Sagamore Bridge.

Meetinghouse,
take Scusset
Beach Road into
Sandwich to the
beach parking
area .
Gray
Gables Beach:
Located at the
southwest
entrance to the
Cape Cod Canal
in the village
of Gray Gables.
It was a
favorite of
President Grover
Cleveland during
the late 1800s.

Old
Silver Beach: Great
family beach
located on
Buzzards Bay.
This warm water
beach is divided
in two, one side
is a public
beach, the other
is private.

Located in North

Wood
Neck Beach:
This warm water
beach is found
at the mouth of
a saltwater lake
(Little
Sippewissett
Lake)
Directions:
West Falmouth

Falmouth Heights
Beach: Nice
warm water beach
overlooking
Vineyard Sound
and Martha’s
Vineyard. After
the beach you
can Hit the
Heights.

South
Cape Beach:
Is operated by
both the town
and state.
Situated on
Nantucket Sound
it's a beautiful
sandy beach and
is great for
fishing.
Directions:
About 3.5 miles
from the Mashpee
Rotary at the
end of Great
Neck Road South
Attaquin Park:
Is the place to
go for
freshwater
swimming and
boating. It is
located on
Mashpee-Wakeby
Pond the largest
freshwater body
on Cape Cod.
Directions:
Located
on the side of
the pond off
Route 130.
Johns
Pond: Is
another good
public beach for
a freshwater
swim and then
maybe head over
to the volley
ball net for a
game.
Directions:
Off
Route 151 and
Currier Road.
Sandwich

Sandy
Neck Beach:
Towering sand
dunes and
beautiful
scenery define
much of this
year round
beach. Great
place to go

Mashpee-Wakeby
PondBeach:
in Sandwich (on
the Wakeby portion
of the pond) is a
beautiful place to
take a fresh water

Beach:
Can be found at
the entrance to
Sandwich Harbor.
Take a swim or
check out the
Sandwich
boardwalk that
crosses Mill
Creek.

Sandy
Neck Beach:
is Barnstable's
longest beach (6
mi.). High sand
dunes and cool
clear water make
this one of the
most popular
beaches on Cape
Cod.

Sandy Neck Road
to the beach
parking lot.
Millway Beach: Lies
next to
Barnstable
Harbor and is a
great place to
watch the boats
entering and
leaving the
harbor. Also has
a great view of
the lighthouse
on Sandy Neck.(

Hathaway’s
Pond:
Is a little
fresh water pond
in Barnstable
that is open to
the public. It
has a nice
playground area
for the kids.. .

Craigville Beach
Located in
Centerville (or
Craigville) is
another very
popular warm
water beach on
the Vineyard
Sound. This
beach has most
of the amenities
including
showers.

Covells Beach
Is a residence
only beach
located to the
east of
Craigville
Beach. Warm
water and a mild
to moderate surf
can be found on
this beach.

Chapin Memorial
Beach:
Beautiful North
side beach where
you can
four-wheel

Bass Hole and

walk out on the
flats at low

follow signs.
West
Dennis Beach:
Very popular
Mid-Cape beach
with plenty to
do for the whole
family. There's
a playground,
snack bar, kite
flying area,
showers and ten
lifeguard
stations along
with a 1000+ car
parking lot that
makes this mile
long beach the
#1 choice of
many Cape Cod
vacationers.

Street Beach:
Enjoy the warm
Nantucket Sound
waters here
while the kids
play in the
sand. You may
want to take
into account the
long set of
stairs one must
take to reach
the beach.

Kalmus
Beach:
Located on Hyannis
Harbor this beach
is a favorite
among Cape Cod
windsurfers. Nice
picnic area...

Veterans Beach:
Great place for
a family cookout
under the pine
trees and is
next to The
Kennedy
Memorial. Also
has a nice
playground..

Sea
Street Beach: Is a
public beach
located on
Hyannis Harbor
and is close to
many Hyannis
accommodations
or pack a lunch
and eat in the
picnic area.

Beach: A nice
beach located on

quiet waters. In

Pond: Nice
freshwater pond in
the middle of
Osterville away
from the ocean

Yarmouth

Sea
Gull Beach: Is by
far the mostpopular
beach in
Yarmouth,
especially with
the younger
crowd. There's
plenty of
parking, a
boardwalk and
plenty of beach
sports being
played if the
mood strikes
you. Parking is
$8 in season.

South Sea Street
in West Yarmouth
to Sea Gull
Lane.
Smugglers Beach
/ Bass River
Beach
Can be found at
the mouth of
Bass River is a
good place for
the family to
swim, fish, and
boat. Located
near several
large hotels and
restaurants. You
can also watch
the boats coming
in and out of
Bass River.
Directions:
At the
end of South
Street off Old
Main
Bass
Hole / Gray’s
Beach:.
Is the only
beach on the
North side of
Yarmouth and is
a great place to
watch the
sunset. The kids
will love the
boardwalk that
crosses over the
salt marsh.
Directions:
In
Yarmouthport
take 6A to the
end of Center
Street.
Brewster
Beach stickers are
available in the lower
level of town hall at
rear entrance on Route

Breakwater
Beach: Is a
nice family
beach surrounded
by grassy sand
dunes. Like most
Brewster beaches
there are not
many facilities,
but, it does
have plenty of
parking.
Directions:
Take
Route 6A to
Breakwater Road
to end.
Long
Pond,
Lies half in
Brewster and half
in Harwich. It is
a large pond great
for swimming,
boating, and
fishing.
Directions:

Chatham

Cockle Cove
Beach:
The calm surf
and soft sand
makes this a
favorite of
families with
small children.

Ridgevale Beach:
Is located
between Hardings
and Cockle Cove
also has soft
sand and gentle
waves. There's a
snack bar in
season.

North
Beach:
This is the
beach for those
who want real
solitude.
Accessible only
by boat, this
beach is both
unspoiled and
rarely crowded.
Water taxis
charge about $10
( round-trip)
for transport to
this beach.

Nauset Light
Beach:
This spectacular
beach is part of
The National Sea
Shore. The surf
here can be very
strong at times
and swimming is
sometimes
prohibited.
Don't forget to
visit the
beaches namesake
'Nauset Light'.

Wiley
Park:
Is a good bet
for families
with small
children. The
beach is on
Great Pond and
there is a
playground for
the kids.

Coast
Guard Beach:
Has limited
parking at the
beach but you
can take the
shuttle (or walk
the trails) from
a large lot at
the Doane Rock
picnic area.

Red
River Beach:
This is one of
Harwich's bigger
beaches. Like
most of the
Harwich beaches
it has warm
water and,
usually, a
moderate surf.

Pleasant Road
Beach:
Pretty beach,
great for
families. Warm
water, soft
sand, and calm
waters
characterize
this fairly
large Harwich
beach.

Pond Beach:
This fresh water
beach is a great
place to rinse
the salt off
after a day at
an ocean beach,
but be advised
there are no
restrooms or
lifeguards.

Nauset Beach:
:The definitive
Cape Cod beach.
Wide open beach
with rolling
sand dunes and
big ocean waves.
Water may be a
little chilly
but its worth
it.

Skaket Beach:
Very popular
Bayside beach
(the parking lot
fills up fast).
Great place to
walk the flats
at low tide.
Stay until dusk
and you will be
rewarded with a
spectacular
sunset.

Pilgrim Lake:
Nice freshwater
family beach
that features
everything from
changing rooms
to picnic areas
to a dock to tie
your boat while
you take a swim.

Provincetown
Provincetown has no real
town beaches, so, there
are no beach stickers.

Race
Point Beach:
This big and
beautiful beach
is located at
the very tip of
Cape Cod and is
part of the
National
Seashore. Sun
worshippers
should note that
Race Point,
because it is a
north facing
beach, gets sun
all day long.
Don't forget to
bring your surf
caster when the
'Blues' are
running.

Herring Cove
Beach:
The water here
is quite a bit
warmer and
calmer than the
water at Race
Point. This
beach is
arguably the
best place to
watch the sunset
on Cape Cod.

Harbor Beach:
Located downtown
this is a great
beach to take a
stroll on and
get away from
the hustle and
bussle of
Commercial
Street.

cliffs. Parking

watch the boat
traffic heading
in and out of
the harbor.

spectacular
